Ken and I have known Freda about 50 years.  We met Freda through a group of really cool CB's.  Her handle was Shady Lady.  Fred was a person with a fantastic personality.  She loved her family, friends and her job as a Teacher.  Miss her smile and her laugh.  Love ya Freda
Ms D was the perfect teacher for our son Grant. She called him her little lab puppy. She was wonderful and will be missed. Happy to contribute to a scholarship in her name to help others follow in her footsteps.
I have so many fond memories of Mrs. D as she was Megan’s kindergarten teacher. She was a beautiful person who did so much for her kinderbears.

  • Sorry for your loss. Looking at her photo was like looking at at my aunt Gladys who I loved and remember her visits to New York over past years

Wayne and I have been friends with Freda over 51years. Thru the years we shared a lot of good times: Her wedding to Joe, births of her daughters and grandchildren. Her family meant so much to her. We  will miss her laughter, our time together and she will be  missed by all that knew her.  Fly high Freda.      We Love you ❤️❤️
I worked with Freda in Billings. She was a wonderful person and talented teacher. She is a loss to the world.
Friends for over 40 years!!! One doesn't get to say that about many people. She was a wonderful friend and always there for me.  We were both type A personalities, color coders, organization freaks, as well as lovers of family and the Lord. Who could ask for better than than? She loved her family so much and would be so proud of the awesome job you  girls are doing in planning all of this. Much love and continued prayers. Love, "Aunt Jo"

Fred and I met in the  1980's when we both taught in Willard. We had such a good time teaching together, carpooling and becoming good friends outside of the school setting. I could tell dozens of stories, but one I thought about today was the night Freda and I were at a board meeting until 2 a.m., waiting the fate of a fellow teacher. All went well, but Joe and my brother almost called the police, they were so worried about us. We had no phone access and that was before cell phones. I think this just shows one of the many qualities Freda had...love and loyalty for her friends. She was one in a million and will be greatly missed.

I used to sneak into the entry room, the one that reminded me of a store front toy store with the glass display. I called it the tea room. Freda was always so patient with me and had such a generous heart. I never got in trouble, she would just bring me to the kitchen and distract me with goodies. I just wanted to play with the bears lol.
