Condolences to the family. I was the flagpole guy and I met your Father at the county Fair in Sioux falls. I was selling my flagpoles there and Fred had much to tell me.  if I remember right he was about 76 at the time. We became friends I will always miss Fred.

We made a rope and pulley elevator to go up one of the big trees in the backyard. When we got up high, we tried to smoke Dad's cigarettes, but got caught by Mom. I can still hear her yelling to come down out of that tree.
