Fred Luc, 74, of Rosedale, MD, passed away due to complications of kidney and heart disease on October 14, 2022 surrounded by his family. He peacefully passed as we all helped in his journey passing through the gates of Heaven.

Fred was born in Tampa, Florida. He lived in some exciting locations such as Bermuda, Puerto Rico, Baton Rouge Louisiana, and Mississippi to name a few.  Later establishing roots and starting his family in Baltimore, Maryland. 

Husband to his beloved wife  Theresa “Williams” Luc proudly sharing 54 years of marriage.

Father to Christine M. Hampt, Bonnie “Luc” Cooper and her husband Michael, Jenny “Luc” Mahan and her husband Steven. Grandfather to Matthew J. Hawkins, Grace B. Mahan, Benjamin M. Mahan and Olivia M. Cooper. 

Great- Grandfather to Christopher Hawkins, Nicholas Hawkins and Kallee Hawkins

Loving Brother to David R. Luc and their half sister Yolanda Sanchez.

Uncle and Great Uncle to many.

Fred spent his career at “The Baltimore Sun” as a journeyman Pressman. Fred enjoyed so many things as a pass time such as gardening, construction, home improvements and landscaping to name a few.  He was a knowledgeable historian, great story teller and conversationalist. Anyone who knew Fred liked him very much and enjoyed so many conversations with him. 

There will a “Celebration of Life”  that will be open to friends and family. Date, Time, and Location will be announced once the planning is completed later next week.
