Fred's obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Fred Bowling, a loving woman, wife, and mother. Born on October 1, 1943, Fred graced this world with her calm and chilled presence till her demise on July 19, 2001.
Fred is survived by her daughter, Tiffany Wilson, and her wife, Janet Hendrickson Bowling. Fred and Janet tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony in 1986 and welcomed their precious daughter, Tiffany, into their lives on July 21, 1989.
Fred was a woman of simple pleasures. She loved the taste of bread pudding and enjoyed Budweiser and Pepsi. Her favorite tunes came from George Strait and she loved to watch performances by The Neighborhood. In her free time, she could often be found on the front porch, watching Tiffany play in the yard and enjoying the bustle of the neighborhood.
Her love for her daughter was profound. She held Tiffany as her greatest accomplishment and focused much of her care and attention towards her. Fred took great joy in teaching Tiffany life skills, including how to last a horse and how to ride a bike.
Fred's favourite color was the understated gray, a perfect reflection of her calm and collected personality. Yet, her life was far from monotone - she was an integral part of her family's life, being there for them whenever they needed her. Her legacy will continue to live on through her loving daughter, her devoted wife, and her three sisters and two brothers.
At the end of her life, Fred's main concern was for her loves ones, especially her precious daughter, Tiffany. She was a dedicated mother, perpetually putting her daughter's needs above her own. Her life was a testament to the power of familial love and devotion.
