Franklin's obituary
Franklin O. Brown
August 9, 1943 – February 14, 2025
Franklin O. Brown passed away peacefully on February 14, 2025, in Orlando, Florida. He leaves behind a loving legacy through his three daughters: Deborah Baker, Bonnie Curtin, and Linda Brown, along with seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, with two more expected to join the family he cherished so dearly.
Born in College Park, Maryland, to Lloyd Sr. and June Brown, Frank discovered his passion for electronics early on. While putting himself through college, he ran his own television repair business and worked for his father's cabinet company before earning his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland. Following his dreams, he relocated to Florida with his first wife, where he built the life and family he had always envisioned.
Frank’s greatest joy was being a father and "Papa" to his growing family. He embodied unconditional love, serving as a role model, mentor, and friend to all who knew him. His dependable nature and willingness to help others became defining traits of his character.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Orlando Healthcare for their compassionate care during Frank’s final days. Their kindness and support meant the world to both Frank and his loved ones.
To our beloved father and Papa: Thank you for being the best father we could have ever asked for. Your love, guidance, and wisdom will continue to inspire us. We love you, we miss you, and we promise to keep making you proud until we meet again at the crossroads.
A celebration of Frank’s life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor the remarkable legacy he leaves behind.
