In Loving Memory of Frankie Downs

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother, Frankie Downs, who left this world peacefully on September 24, 2025. She was a woman whose love, warmth, and joyful spirit touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Frankie lived her life devoted to her family. She was the proud and loving mother of five children: James Downs (married to Lisa), Tony Downs (married to Stacey), Brenda Downs (married to Jennifer), Eddie Downs (married to Robert), and Tammy Haynes (married to Scott). Her greatest joy was found in her children and in the grandchildren she adored: Demi Haynes, Londan Downs, Robert Jr. Downs, Khala Coleman, and Aiden Downs.

Frankie was known for her kindness, her unwavering support, and her ability to bring comfort to those around her. She had a heart that always gave more than it received, and her laughter and light made every gathering brighter. Whether it was through her words of encouragement, her endless care, or her simple presence, Frankie made the lives of her loved ones richer and fuller.

She will be remembered as a woman of grace, strength, and compassion—an anchor for her family, and a friend to many. Her memory will live on in the stories we share, the traditions we continue, and the love that binds her family together.

At Frankie’s request, there will not be a formal service. She will be cremated and her family will honor her privately, holding her close in their hearts always.

Though our loss is immeasurable, we take comfort in knowing that Frankie’s beautiful spirit will continue to guide and inspire us for the rest of our days.
