You were so handsome ❤️ Tonya…

You were so handsome ❤️ Tonya’s Wedding
Sigh. It still hurts with every phone call asking for you or the calls I make to let them know. I miss you, I’m sorry, I love you. We are fighting for you dad. Some days you let me know you’re with me and I’m okay and other days I want to just hug you one last time...one last I love you. I know you’re in a better place but my selfish side wants you back. I love you Pa 🥺💔❤️💔.

Well, how do you even begin to sum up a life time in this little box? Dad you were all a family could ask for. You worked hard, played hard and loved even harder. You did all you could could and then some,to make this house a home. You never left any doubt how much you loved and cared for all of us but especially your wife,my mom,of 60+ years. Your love of cars got me started on my love of the classics. My first and still favorite car of my life was a G.TO. That all stemmed from your love of your G.T.O. My interest in coins and stamps and comic books all came from the collecting bug you started me with. We never really shared your love for computers but never once did that stop you from showing me the other joys I now have in my life. I just talked to you few days before this happened and we talked about you staying strong and we will get in there to see you the first day we are allowed. That will never happen now. I will never again see that smile when I walk in. I will never again hear you call me your buddy. The last words we spoke to each other were... "I love you pops" and you replied..."I love you buddy" I will never hear that again. Im already missing you pops. I know you are in a better place but without you here this place is a bit grayer,a bit sadder and a bit more lonely. Drive that G.T.O like ya stole it dad and keep the passenger seat warm for mom.

I love you pops!!!!!

Grandpa, from the first day you met me you accepted me as your grandchild right away. Spoiling me and and treating me as your own and giving me all you could and more. You made me feel so loved, always. Going through a lot medically myself you were always so worried and concerned even when I went through the smallest thing. Thank you for loving me unconditionally. I love you so much and will miss you forever. I trust that you will be my guardian angel and always be watching over me and protecting me. I love you so much, until we meet again.

Dad this still doesn't feel real and every time I see a picture of you it hits me that it is. You gave me the most amazing life, both you and mom together. I'll miss your smile that would light up when you saw me. I am glad you aren't in pain or feeling alone in the nursing home full of strangers anymore. I know I will see that smile again but for now my world is a little darker without it. Daddy's girl loves you forever and ever! Hugs
