Frank Mayhue Jr. of Grand Rapids Michigan went home to Jesus on April 16, 2026 at age 82.

Frank was born to Rev. Frank Mayhue Sr. and Pearlene McElwee on August 12, 1943 in Little Rock,  Arkansas . Frank enjoyed attending church and was a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. Frank met his wife, (Cecil Mayhue) in 1965 they married in 1966 and went on to have one child, (Mark Mayhue).   Frank took great pride in his home, often spending time working on it and caring for his yard. He enjoyed traveling and experiencing new places, and he had a deep appreciation for blues music—especially the sound of B.B. King, which he loved to listen to.Throughout his entire life, he held an unwavering faith in God, which he shared with those who surrounded him. Frank joins his mother Pearlene, father Frank Sr. his sisters; Helen, Joyce, Mary, Tammy and Dorothy. Brothers; Raymond, James, Charles, Melvin in Heaven. He is survived by wife Cecil, son Mark, brother Paul (Dee) Mayhue,  sister Cleophas, grandchildren Marc, Davette (Aljawan) Beamon, Kevin (Samantha) O’Neil. great grandchildren Jmyla, Jinya, Samson.
