I am incredibly grateful for his insight and kindness. I looked forward everyday to Science Olympuad practice because he would always let me lead it how I wanted, especially the days he left to go get the unpasteurized milk. He was a funny guy. He wrote my letter of recommendation for college. I always wished I asked him for it. He saw insight me that I did not see in myself yet. He made an impact. That's for sure. And a immensely kind one at that.

Mr. Bellomo was my science teacher nearly 20 years ago. He was kind, caring and so great at what he did. I was not into science as a student but I looked forward to his class everyday, as he welcomed and accepted all students for who they were and where they were. My condolences to his family. He was a true gem.

My deepest sympathies for the family of Mr. Bellomo. As a student at St. Elizabeth HS, I remember him as one of the kindest and mild mannered people I had the privilege of knowing. He was a stellar teacher and a friendly person all around. His passion for teaching showed in his classes every day. I am fortunate to have known him.

Frank was such a warm, kind person. I met him when we were both teaching at St. Elizabeth, and his gentleness and ready smile made everyone feel comfortable and cared for. Not only did we work together; we were also neighbors, which we discovered during my first year teaching at St. E’s. I left there after I had my son, but I continued to see Frank as one or the other was out and about in the neighborhood. When my son Will began having lemonade stands and vegetable stands in our front yard, Frank always stopped by and bought a cup of lemonade or a few tomatoes from him, making sure to tell him how refreshing the lemonade was or how proud he was of Will for having a garden, telling him to keep up the good work. You just always felt like he genuinely wanted to take time for you, which is a real gift. He is living proof that you don’t need to be bombastic or prove your power by making someone else feel lesser; his power came from true kindness and gentleness. He will be missed.

Sending prayers and condolences to the family. Mr. Bellomo was an amazing and inspirational Physics teacher at St. E's. Extremely compassionate, helpful, and caring to both students and staff. His scientific teachings and advice still resonates with us students. From Physics lessons and Peer Tutoring, to lab cleaning and science experiments, he is amazing!

Mr. Bellomo was one of the most compassionate teachers I have ever known. His classes were always engaging and personal - but what I learned most was how to treat others with kindness and respect. He taught that by being a role model for students: sharing a money jar for anyone that needed lunch, offering tea or an ear to listen, and making his classroom a tutoring space during lunchtime. I am so grateful to have been one of his students and incredibly sorry to hear of his passing. My thoughts are with his family and hope they find peace.

Frank Bellomo was a wonderful and caring colleague and an inspiration to all the students who were lucky to have been in his classes at St. E’s. So sorry to hear the news of his passing. May his memory be a blessing to his family and friends.

Aunt Mary and family, I’m so sorry for your loss. My Great Uncle Franky was truly great. Every trip he made to come visit us in Rochester was a wonderful time that I cherished always. He would tell us all his stories, show us the stars in the sky, and spread his kindness so contagious that you couldn't help but smile. He was a great man, my Great Uncle Franky, and I will always look fondly back at the times I got to spend with him. Always remember the great times you had with him.
Sending love your way,
Joseph

Bellomo family,
Frankie is one of my favorite cousins. I say is because as long as we think about them, they are never gone. His mom is my dad's sister. I remember him as a fun-loving guy who always had time for his younger cousins, (there were many of us). As time went on, we all went our separate ways, but the memories of him will always be in our hearts. So long cousin, we will see each other again in heaven someday.

Oh Mary and family. My heart aches for your loss. Frankie was called home too early. Way to early.
I loved the man Frankie was. Every single attribute listed in his obituary is absolutely true. He was gentle, kind, truthful, inspirational, and so much more. It is clear he left loving touches on so many and his gentle spirit lives on in you, his family, and so many others.
I am so deeply sorry for your loss.

Sending love and prayers to the Bellomo family and to all of those grieving the tremendous loss of Frank. I had the great honor of working with Frank at St. Elizabeth, and learned so much from being around his gentle spirit and watching the ways he interacted with our students. My favorite memories were organizing Senior retreat and having Frank on our retreat team. His presence alone added so much to every room he walked in to. Without him saying a word, you knew he was there. He had a gift and I am better for having known him. Rest in eternal peace Frank, and thank you for being such a special colleague, friend, and mentor. Xo.

My deepest condolences and prayers to Mr. Bellomo’s family and loved ones. Gone from this life too soon, but certainly not without a massive impact. His pure heart, seemingly boundless intelligence and wisdom, and comforting spirit he shared with generations of students is remarkable, and I’m so blessed to have had him as a teacher and mentor.

I hope for every student there’s a teacher as wise, kind, caring, and compassionate as Mr. Bellomo. But his role as an educator went beyond teaching. He provided his students a road map to live a life of purpose, gratitude, and love for others. I consider myself lucky to have had a seat in his classroom. My prayers are with him and his family.

Mr. Bellomo was one of those teachers who made an impact on your life. I can still remember some of his lessons from my physics classes 10 years ago. I regret that I never went back to visit him after I graduated St. E's. I'll miss him dearly.
