The first time when the words came out "my fathers in town and I want you to meet him" I got nervous and it turned out it was for absolutely no reason...The way his children discribed him was exactly the man he was...He excepted my children and I with open arms... As time went on we had met his beautiful wife and other children... I had learned the hard way when it came to his stubborn side although I can say I was warned... When it came to taking him out to eat it was impossible as soon as he seen you reaching in your pocket or purse he would give you a look and ask you "what do you think your doing"...one trip down to Tennessee he was working and told his son Julian to ask where we want to go for dinner...Since he wouldn't let us treat him we decided instead of going out we would cook him dinner, when he came home the look on his face was priceless he had the biggest and brightest smile...he came in put his music on an joined us cooking...to sit down as a family and just have conversations was much more worth it then sitting at a restaurant...that is just one memory that will stay with me forever...he was one of a kind and he will truly be missed
