Francisco's obituary

Francisco E. Llorente, 78, of Kodiak Alaska passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones on September 7th, 2024. He was born in the Philippines in Jagnaya, Jamindan, Capiz on September 23, 1945. He immigrated to San Francisco where we spent a few short years living with his eldest sister Selma, before settling in Kodiak, Alaska during the early 80's. Francisco married Belma in 1992, with whom they raised three children. If there was one thing Francisco was remembered for, it was his eagerness to cook and make sure everyone was fed and full. It would always bring a smile to his face to see friends and family eating his home cooked meals.

He leaves behind his wife, Belma Llorente. Three children; Francis, Frederick, and Britney Llorente. Sister, Selma Araga. Mother-in-law, Estrella Palilio. Nieces; Leilani, Lita, Daisy, Desiree, and Della. And the Palilio family; Joven, Marilen,  Edgar, Chris, Maribel, and Alfredo.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 21st, with the viewing beginning at 11am at St. Mary's Parish in Kodiak, Alaska.  Mass ceremony to follow viewing services, beginning 12pm. Reception will begin following the conclusion of the mass, at the Kodiak High School cafeteria. Beginning approximately 1pm.
