All my dad wants us to do is to celebrate his life and take on the lessons you have learned from him. As his daughter, I'm proud of my father for showing me what it means to be equipped for life and being prepared. I'm proud that he's touched your life, as he did with mine. He is never gone. He will always be there, either playing basketball or having his own adventure. Please do not forget about my father and keep taking care of yourself.

Lastly, to all my father athletes out there, make sure to care for yourself and watch out. Know that your family and friends are more than happy to help you -- so please do not keep health conditions or shrug it off.
