Francisco's obituary
Francisco was born in Bacolod City, Philippines on December 24, 1971. He is survived by his parents Sandy Firmeza and Bienvenida Madre; siblings David John, Jessica, and Sandra; his wife Rea; children Zeean Marie and Francis Raynell.
He worked as a registered nurse at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami for over 16 years– a profession he was dedicated to and did well with expertise. He was an important part of his work team and a trusted teammate. He was regarded as a “brother” and loved by his colleagues.
His other passion was playing basketball, a sport he loved since childhood until his last breath. He was involved with the Filipino-American basketball league and had coached many other aspiring athletes. He played his last game just before he passed away.
His dedication at work and for basketball served as a channel of connecting with others through which he formed many meaningful friendships. He was known for his sense of humor, dependability and generosity. Every time he leaves for vacation, his coworkers could not wait until he returns because it is not the same without him.
Indeed, Francisco will be deeply missed by friends and supportive family, aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, and nieces.
