Francis's obituary

Francis John (Frank) Mahoney, 80, passed away on January 26 , 2025 in Henderson, NV. Born on January 5, 1945 . Frank proudly served in the Army from 1964 to 1967 . He then went on to become a police officer with the Westchester County Police Department.

Following his retirement, Frank relocated from Mohegan Lake New York to Henderson, Nevada, where he, alongside his wife Sibby and daughter LuAnne ,established The Nevada center for missing loved ones (NCMLO).

Frank was also an active member of the Elks Club.

He leaves behind his children James (Sam) Mahoney, Luanne Salamone, Maria Eyster, and Nanci Romano. Frank was a grandfather to James and Kristen Mahoney, Frank and Sibrianna Salamone, Sabrina, Sierra, and Mason Eyster, and Victoria Schlesinger , Rocky, and Nicholas Ferraro, and a great-grandfather to Henry Mahoney , Aria and Kayson Schlesinger. He is also survived by his sister Mary Higgins and brother Martin Mahoney.

Frank was preceded in death by his beloved wife Sibby his parents Joseph and Katherine Mahoney, and his brother Joseph Mahoney.
