Francine, “Fran” Warbington Canterberry, 71, of Lakeview, passed away, on Monday May 1, 2024. She is the daughter of the (late) M.B. Warbington and Frances Lewis Warbington. She was born and raised in Tuscaloosa, AL. Fran attended Tuscaloosa High School (which later became Central High School) before embarking on her journeys to places near and far. She was married to William Glenn Canterberry on May 30th, 1975. In the 28 years they were married they had three children. Heather Ashley Canterberry-Sanders (Steve), Mandy Alise Canterberry-Hester (Clinton), and William Austin Canterberry (Meridith); and four grandchildren Aviana Sanders, Theryn Hester, Penny Canterberry and Samuel “Sammy” Canterberry. A memorial service will be held at the Cremation Center of Birmingham (1013 Shady Oaks Dr. Woodstock, AL 35188) beginning at 1PM on 19 May 2024.

Fran’s family would like to express heartfelt thanks to Hospice of West Alabama for their professional and caring staff.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that loved ones spend time doing something special with their family.
