Frances Clair Dabney

Frances Clair Dabney died on May 7, 2024, at the age of 53. She was born April 29, 1971, in San Antonio, Texas, to parents Eugene E. and Linda Rainwater Dabney. An outgoing person, she loved cooking and spending time with her friends. She was always an academic achiever and even skipped the eighth grade. As a teen she also excelled in gymnastics. Frances graduated in 1988 from the Ursuline Academy in San Antonio, and went on to study interior design and architecture at the University of Texas at San Antonio, where in 1995 she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design. Her design-work portfolio included numerous gorgeous interior stone walls and fireplaces. She also worked most recently for the Northeast Independent School District in San Antonio with special needs children, a job she balanced with caring for her mother at home. She loved animals and together with her mother, gave homes to many sweet dogs and cats over the years.

Frances is predeceased by her father. Her mother passed away five days after Frances. She is survived by her brother, Eugene E. Dabney, Jr., of San Antonio, three of her aunts—Donna, Arlita, and Catherine, and a number of cousins.
