With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved Fran. Born May 27, 1960 in London, Ontario, Fran tragically lost her life on March 24, 2024, in Sebring, Florida. Her graceful legacy of love, generosity, fun and kindness will forever be cherished.

She is survived by her devoted husband, David James McConnell, and their precious daughters - Katelyn Grace McConnell of Port Lambton, Ontario, and Jessica Rose McConnell (fiancé-Stuart Morawski) of Guelph, Ontario. Fran leaves behind her dear sisters, Grace (Jason) and Rosanna, and her brothers Peter and Tony (Kelly), who will always hold her memory close to their hearts.

Throughout her life, Fran was an active member of the community in both her hometown of London, Ontario, and her winter home in Sebring, Florida, significantly impacting all around her. Franny found joy in many hobbies and interests, including golf, pickleball, biking, watching her favorite movies and shows, decorating, gardening, playing board games, event planning, and of course, shopping. She was known for her sparkling personality and was a shining light in the lives of those around her, always spreading warmth and love wherever she went. Her love for her daughters’ pets was a special part of her life. Most of all, Fran loved her family limitlessly.

Franny will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was a pillar of strength for her family and friends, a proud mother, and a loving wife. Her spirit will continue to illuminate our lives and forever shine in our hearts.

A celebration of life for Fran will take place at RiverBend Golf Community, 1200 Sandy Somerville Drive, London, Ontario N6K 5R2 on April 20, 2024 between the hours of 2-5 PM
