Forrest "Duke" Jones
Age: 57 of Inola, Ok passed away on October 8th, 2018 after a long battle with cancer. He was born July 16, 1961 to Patricia and EC Jones. Duke loved riding his 1974 Shovelhead and doing Tattoos. He was a Journeyman Welder and enjoyed working with his hands. To those who new Duke, he was a strong presence, sometimes good and if he wasn't happy, not so good.....He lived life to the fullest and loved his 3 kids with everything he had. Amber Jones' Eric Jones, and Nic Jones, all of Tulsa. His grandson, Landon Jones won his ♥ and gave his Grandpa great joy. Close friends meant a lot to him, especially those who stuck with him through his battle with cancer, refusing to give up even when Duke got tired and the battle got stronger.... Todd and Sabrina Mosier, Diana Harp, Debbie Moore, TJ and Diane, Kathy Shafer, and last but not least Mike Naab and Richard Deeter.
He and his wife Sabra Jones had been friends for 26 years before fate brought them together in 2014, and married 1 yr later on June 22nd,2015. Though Duke was diagnosed a few weeks before the wedding they were blessed to have 4 wonderful years together, spending every minute they could living life to the fullest. Thier most favorite past times were riding his Harley and camping. His wife loved him beyond measure, cared for him during his illness, and has suffered the greatest loss. That of her strength, best friend and soulmate. His absence will forever be felt by those who's lives he touched, but his memory will never be forgotten..... He is survived by his 3 children, 1 grandson, and his wife. His resting place is Sweeten Cemetery in Inola, Oklahoma.
