Butch's obituary

Floyd Eugene “Butch” Pridemore, a farrier and life-long resident of Lincoln, AR, died peacefully on October 12, 2020 at the age of 72 at Baptist Health Hospital in Little Rock, AR.

Butch is survived by his daughter, Rachel Harp and his grandchildren, Khloey Harp and Brooks Harp.

Butch was born in Prairie Grove, AR on May 10, 1948 to Howard Pridemore and Dixie Ballard Pridemore Reed. He graduated from Lincoln High School and worked as a Farrier. In 1982, he welcomed his daughter, who was one of the most important parts of his life.

Butch was a devoted father, grandfather and avid roper. He enjoyed roping and training horses, traveling to rodeos with his daughter and spending time with his grandkids. He often roped and was known as a skilled horse trainer among his peers. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.

A celebration of Life is scheduled for 2 p.m. on November 8 at the Lincoln Rodeo Grounds. Justin Haywood will officiate. In Lieu of Flowers, donations any condolences may be offered to Butch's Memorial Fund.
