Floyd's obituary
Born in Edinboro, PA, Floyd was the son of Reed and Jean (Babbitt) King. He attended Rockdale School and Cambridge Springs High School. Floyd went on to become an U.S Army Korean War Veteran, where he served from 1953-1955. He was employed at PennDot and worked as a Heavy Equipment worker where he retired after 22 years.
He enjoyed working with his hands doing numerous projects from wood working to building wind chimes. Floyd will be remember fondly for his upbeat personality and loving nature.
Along with his wife Floyd is survived by One daughter Dolly Vanderhoff; Seven grandchildren Kathy (Thomas) Rogers of Wichita, Kansas, Jackie Craven and her friend Terry of Williamsport, PA, Amanda (Terry) Bressette of Sharon, PA, Patrick Marshall of Williamsport, PA, Sherri (David) Bogan of Florida, Farrah Johnston of Utah, Alicia Marshall of Williamsport, PA. Along with 13 great grandchildren, one great great grandson and several Nieces and Nephews.
In addition to his parents, Floyd was preceded in death by his daughter, Annette L Marshall; His son, Craig S King; His grandson, Mark R Vanderhoff Jr; Two sisters, Seven Brothers and Several Nieces and Nephews
No Funeral services will be held at this time, A memorial will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials are made to the Townville Volunteer Fire Dept in Townville, PA.
