Heartfelt sympathy to the family. It was always a brighter day to see Floyd’s smile at the airport—he will be deeply missed.

Blue skies and tailwinds Captain

Terri and family, Floyd and I were classmates at Rosewood.  Our 50th reunion was the 1st time I had seen him since we graduated in 1973.  He was one of the good ones.  Our class will keep you and the family in our thoughts and prayers, Evonne Gurley Milkovits, Class of 1973 RHS.
Thoughts & prayers for Floyd’s family at this difficult time. I had the privilege of knowing him for many years as the nurse for his flight physicals for many years & my husband Tim worked with him at American on the 330. A true gentleman! Our heartfelt condolences Angela & Tim Hartman

My condolences to the family…. I knew Captain  Floyd Jones and flew with him .. I was shocked to hear of his passing… I am so sorry…….. God Bless

John

So sorry to hear this. Floyd was one of the great ones. We flew many day turns together on the little bus and always looked forward to it when I saw his name as the Captain .

After he took the leave he called me to tell me that he was calling a few guys that he flew with and was not able to say goodbye because of the parking of the 330 but just wanted me to know that I was one of those guys he always looked forward to flying with.

I’ll never forget that phone call

Rest in peace my friend
