Background
Buddy was a huge proponent of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, especially after his oldest daughter Lindsay joined the surgery faculty there. His "This Shirt Saves Lives" T-shirt was often seen out and about in Denver, NC, and he was a great ambassador for the hospital.
