It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Floyd "Johnny" Johnson Jr., Floyd was born on May 21, 1955, and passed away on July 13, 2024. His presence will be missed and cherished in the hearts of those who knew him.

Floyd is survived by his devoted wife, Beverly Courtney Johnson, who stood by his side in love and companionship. His legacy will continue to live on through his daughters, Kimmie Sue Gooldrup and Laurie Nutter, who will forever hold dear the memories of their father.

He was a treasured grandfather to Michela Johnson, Alexzander Nutter, Paige Gooldrup, and Latrell Johnson. Floyd's joyous moments shared with his grandchildren will continue to inspire them as they hold onto his love and cherished memories.

Floyd worked at Supreme Slipper for a number of years and then retired from Pioneer Plastics after 32 years. Floyd loved the Ocean and being near the water. He married his wife Beverly in 2018 after moving to TN. In June of 2020 they moved to Venice, Fl.

Floyd leaves behind his aunt, Dolly Jones, and uncle, Alan Guimond, his brother Robert Johnson and sister Jil Eaton.  He was predeceased by his father, Floyd Johnson Sr., his mother Lenora Johnson and his aunt, Betty Ann Guimond. Their reunions in eternity bring comfort in the midst of this loss.

The world is indeed a little darker without Floyd, but his memory and spirit will forever brighten the lives of those he left behind.
