Floyd's obituary
It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Floyd Joseph Alfano, who graced this world with his presence on September 21, 1961, and answered the heavenly call on April 9, 2026. As a beacon of strength, dedication, and unwavering love, Floyd's memory will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those he left behind.
Left to cherish Floyd's memory is his beloved wife, Wendy Alfano, who was his partner in love and life. Floyd's legacy also lives on through his sons, John and Joseph Alfano, as well as his daughters, Meghan Ferguson and Elizabeth Ray. Floyd’s life was enriched by his sons-in-law, Scott Ferguson and Justin Ray, and his cherished daughter-in-law, Jessi Mathews, and his Sisters, Tina Webb, Rachel Nelson, and Frances Jones, and Brother Michael Alfano.
Floyd’s indomitable spirit lives on in his adored granddaughters, Maddie, Alivia, and Brooklyn Ferguson, Anna Kate Hardin, Sarah, Melony, and Haylee Alfano. His grandsons, Tony Alfano, Mason, Chris, and Matthew Ferguson, and a host of nieces and nephews will continue to honor his memory with every milestone they reach. Floyd is now reunited with his grandson, Hayden Alfano, who predeceased him.
He was the son of the late Frank and Sara Ann Alfano, both of whom had significant roles in shaping the extraordinary man that Floyd became.
The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Adamsville, AL, on Thursday April 16th, 2026, with visitation at 10:00 AM and Mass beginning at 11:00 AM.
