Thinking of you often Aunt Flo.

Love Maureen Bonner

I loved Flo the minute I met her.  We had so much in common.  She had a lovely home with so many beautiful things some of which I inherited and cherish dearly.  Especially her MahJongg set ! She was an avid player and I think of her whenever I play.

I brought her my cat, Skye , to foster.  Of course they fell in love with each other and she asked to keep her.  I was delighted to have Flo be her mom.  And I got to see her whenever I visited.

Flo was  delightful, funny and wise.  I still miss her.  She was a truly wonderful friend and I  cherished her ❤️.

Flo and I used to get together for lunch. We had a small group of women who would join us. Always a lot of fun. Flo would provide drinks, appetizer and dessert. I would bring the main part of the meal.... usually Chinese take out. We would tell stories and laugh. Flo always had the best stories. They were good times and are missed.

My mother and I used to work together at the Dodger Stadium in Vero Beach. We had a blast. We ate real good too. She and I loved that job and we were sad to see it end. Florence loved working at the First Church of God in Vero Beach. She worked in the children's fellowship and she adored them. She told me that what ever she didn't do as a young mother that she made up for it through these kids. She loved being generous and bringing breakfast for her coworkers. It didn't matter that she made minimum wage and spent a lot on the food, she loved doing it. When she lived in Brooklyn, and in her hay day, she was a bartender for many years. She was very skilled at this career and everyone adored her. When she moved to Florida in 1979, she was so happy. She decorated and redecorated her home and fussed...she was always fussing. She had a green thumb and could make anything grow.
