Florence Callaway, 85, of Brooklyn,
NY, passed away on Nov 4th 2020.

Florence was born on May 21, 1935 to Mary and Larry in Brooklyn, NY . She was the third oldest of eight siblings, Four of which preceded her in death Larry Bryant Jr, James Bryant, Mary Richardson, Leon Bryant.

She was educated in Brooklyn school systems. One of her fondest dreams was to attend college but was unable to. At the age of 55 her dreams came true. She enrolled in Manhattan Community College in excelled in Early Childhood Studies earning a grade point average of 3.45.

In 1956, Florence met Ernest Callaway Jr, and they wed in 1956, going on to have one child a son, Ernest Callaway III. Both husband and son preceded her in death.

In 1970 Florence joined Berean Baptist Church under the pastoral of Rev. Doctor Hylton L. James. She became an active member of some of the ministries. The Berean Choir, The Cathedral Choir, The Hospitality Ministry, Sunday School, The Royal Orchard Ministry, God's Helping Hands Ministry, and the Prison Ministry.

Florence was predeceased by in laws Shirley Callaway, Ray Bryant (Larry), Buster Richardson( Mary), George Manuel(Mildred) Arthur Callaway(Dorothy). She is survived by three siblings of Brooklyn NY. Mildred Manuel, Helen Davis (George), and Dorothy Callaway. Her grandchildren Ernest Callaway IV, James Callaway, John Cephas(Sophia), Michele Crawford, Aaron Clark IV. A Host of nieces, nephews and cousin's.
