In loving memory of my mother "Flor Flores", who passed away at 94 in her sleep on August 5th 2023. She was the devoted wife of the late Ruperto A. Flores for over 50 years and loving mother of her only son Miguel(Mike)Flores.    She also was a second mother (being the oldest) to her younger sisters Teresa (Alegria), Victoria (Miriam), Juana and also her 6 brothers; Viterbo, Arturo, Dido, Alfredo, Marcos and Ciro in addition to her loving nieces Miriam(Cecy), Monica and Maria.

Flor (Florcita) was born in Canuto, Ecuador on March 14th 1929. She grew up in Calceta, Ecuador and eventually met her future husband, Ruperto, in a hair salon. After they married, as fate would have it, they themselves opened up the "Paris Mode" Hair Salon which they successfully owned and operated for 30 years.  In 1959, they happily welcomed their son Miguel into their lives'. Seven years later Mr. Flores relocated the family to Manhattan, New York. They were New Yorkers until 1974 when they made their final move to West Palm Beach, Florida.

Florcita was a woman of faith and she instilled in those who knew her the importance of a strong religious foundation, family and doing what is right. She was a source of inspiration to us all and she will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children Research Hospital in Floricita's name. A service will be arranged and further information will be posted later.

En memoria de mi madre Flor Flores quien falleció el 5 de Agosto de 2023 a la edad de 94 anos cuando dormía. Florcita fue la esposa devota del fallecido Ruperto A. Flores por mas de 50 anos y una madre abnegada de su único hijo Miguel (Mike) Flores. Tambien fue una segunda madre (por ser la mayor) de sus hermanos: Arturo, Dido, Alfredo, Teresa (Alegria), Victoria (Miriam), Juana, Marcos y Ciro.

Flor (Florcita) nació en Canuto, Ecuador el 14 de Marzo de 1929. Ella creció en Calceta, Ecuador y eventualmente conoció a su futuro esposo Ruperto en un salon de belleza. Despues de haber contraido matrimonio, ellos abrieron "Paris Mode" un  salon de Belleza al cual  ellos administraton exitosamente por 30 anos. En 1959, recibieron con mucha alegria la llegada de su hijo "Miguelito" y siete anos después, el senor Flores reubico a la familia a Manhattan, Nueva York. Ellos fueron Neoyorquinos hasta el ano 1974 donde finalmente se mudaron a West Palm Beach, Florida. Florcita siempre fue una mujer de fe ferviente quien instituyo a los que los que la  concocian la importancia de su fe religiosa, familia y siempre el hacer lo que es correcto. Ella siempre fue una fuente de  inspiracion para todos nosotros. Florcita va  hacer profundamente extranada por todas las personas que de una u otra forma sus vidas fueron influenciada por ella. En lugar de flores, donaciones pueden ser hechas en nombre de ella a la organizacion benefica que ella siempre apoyo "St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital".  La fecha del  servicio de su memorial, la cual va a ser transmitida en vivo, sera anunciada en un futuro cercano por favor registrarse en este sitio web para recibir datos actualizados.
