Finnegan Patrick Foy, 13, of Burlingame, California died Thursday, July 8, 2021 at San Mateo Medical Center after complications from a seizure due to neurofibromatosis.

Finnegan and his twin sister Eloise were born on October 10, 2007 in San Francisco, California to Patrick and Carrie Foy and he grew up in Burlingame with his four siblings.

Finn loved soccer and he wanted to play for the Irish national team. He attended Washington Elementary School and Burlingame Secondary School.

Finnegan is predeceased by his older sister Layla Foy. He is survived by his parents, Patrick and Carrie Foy of Burlingame, siblings, Alison, Mackaila, Collin, Eloise, Maeve and Genevieve Foy of Burlingame, his grandparents Patrick and Melissa Foy of Riverside, Finnegan and Louise Rosser of Palo Alto, several aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends.

A private memorial service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church immediately followed by a graveside service at St. John’s Cemetery in San Mateo.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to consider a donation to the Neurofibromatosis Network in Finn’s memory.
