Born on September 11, 1939, in Gattaran, Cagayan, Philippines, Fidel Foster Pinzon, Jr. was lovingly known as “Jun” and “Papa Jun” by friends and family. He was the cherished son of Fidel Pinzon and Amparo Foster.
Jun's education began at St. Paul Kindergarten College of Tuguegarao, Luna Elementary School, and Luna Academy High School. He graduated from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines, with degrees in pre-med and medicine in 1963.
