Our family unexpectedly lost Fiana Martell, on February 20, 2023, after a brief battle with Dementia. She was just 72 years old. Fiana spent all of her life in her hometown of Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Her greatest joy in life was singing, dancing, and being the light of anyone’s life that she had the chance to be apart of. Fiana is survived by her daughters, Michelle Martell and Jae McCullough , and her grandchildren, Shelby Martell, Jamie Martell, Heaven McCullough, and Kahron McCullough.

She was known to ask her daughter for permission to whisk away her grandchildren to spend quality time every week by cooking and making recipes, usually at an incredibly opportune time (according to Shelby )! An active member in her local church community, Fiana spent much of her time connecting with her spiritual practices and inviting as many people to share in the word of Christ as possible.

In lieu of Fiana’s request to never death as a loss but as a celebration of a new life, today we celebrate the end of the amazing memories we were able to cherish because of Fiana.
