Fernando loved to fish, garden and cook. Happiest when grandchildren and family visited. Worked in construction for many years and he and his sons helped build their new house with terraced gardens where he grew the biggest, tastiest hairloom tomatoes, kale and beans with heirloom seeds from the "old country". Despite great strife in his life, he always had a smile for everyone. He will be fondly remembered by his his sister in laws, Anna Marie and Teresa, brother in laws Joseph Peterson and Ramiro Estrada and 24 nieces and nephews.
