Felix's obituary

Felix Zavaleta Passed Away on January 11th, 2024. He was admitted to the intensive care unit on November 21st, 2023, where he remained on life support until his passing. 

Some of his favorite things in the world was spending time with his family, watching sports games from his chair and his ever loving fondness for Coca Cola, his only vice. He never drank or smoked. He always had a smile on his face and was the first one to offer loving advice. He never complained about life. He was always thankful for what he had. He loved all of his family

Felix was born to Paul Aurora Zavaleta-Pardave & Andres Zavaleta in July 14 1942 in Lima Peru. He was 1 of 4 children. His siblings Carmen Zavaleta (passed away as well) His surviving siblings Ana Zavaleta in Milan Italy, and Beto Zavaleta in Toronto Ontario Canada. Felix Moved to the USA on a student visa in 1960 at the age of 18. He found residency in Paterson NJ where he went to Passaic County College, he worked hard in order to have his sister Carmen have U.S. Residency and brought his sister to the USA in 1966. He was married in 1973 to Elcy Vargas. Had his first son Paul. Was divorced in 1988 and started a new family in 1999. The family all relocated to Lowell, NC in 2008. He is survived by his Siblings Ana Zavaleta, Brother Beto Zavaleta, his wife Maritza Zavaleta, sons Paul Zavaleta, Alex Zavaleta, Andres Zavaleta, Daughter in Law Kayla Zavaleta, Granddaughter's Madison Zavaleta, Rosé Zavaleta, Nieces Ivette Zavaleta, and Giovanna Lakomy
