Felicia Dawn Cortis, 31, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Chicopee on December 20, 2021. Felicia was born on November 8, 1990, the daughter of Vicky (Bienvenue) Santos and William T. Cortis. She was educated in Chicopee schools and had been working in the manufacturing division of Yankee Candle. Felicia was always the life of the party and loved to sing and dance with her friends. She also had a creative talent and liked to express herself through her art work and writing poetry. Felicia was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Daniel and Donna Cortis, as well as her maternal grandfather, Ronald Bienvenue. She is survived by her daughters, Lillian and Jordan, her father William and his partner, Brenda, her mother Vicky and her husband, Artur, her maternal grandmother Judy Ison and her Godmother Kelly White. Felicia will also be dearly missed by her brothers, Bill and John Cortis, her siblings Siera, Victor, DJ, Tristian, Patrick, Artur, Joao, Mynga, and Isabella, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services for Felicia will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Corridan Funeral Home, 333 Springfield St., Chicopee. Visiting hours will take place from 9 to 11am, with a funeral home service to take place at 11 and burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to help offset the cost of the services can be made out directly to Corridan Funeral Home.
