Faye's obituary

Faye Delores Osheim Wearin was born on September 30, 1938 in Waterloo, Iowa. She died January 11, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl & Evelyn Osheim, her husband Jim and her two sons Mike and Jimmy.

Faye graduated from West High School in Waterloo. She attended Iowa State University and University of Northern Iowa. She moved to San Jose, California to be near her sister-and soon after, met Jim. They married in 1960 and spent the next 49 years together. Their son Mike was born in 1961 and Jimmy was born in 1962.
Jim accepted a position in Grand Island, Nebraska in the early 1970's, and the family spent the next nine years there. Then it was back to California- this time to Fresno. It became their final home.
Many, many special friends were made there. Jim and Faye joined SSRC soon after they moved to Fresno. So many good times were spent at the club with so many good people who would become their permanent friends.
Faye became a realtor in 1988- a field she loved. She loved helping her clients search for the perfect home, and she loved helping the other clients sell their homes in order to move on with their lives. Her fellow agents became lasting friends- and supportive when she needed them.
Jim and Faye loved to travel. They visited numerous countries- usually with friends who also loved to travel. One of their best trips was to Norway with Faye's sisters. They met 14 of their cousins, three uncles and an aunt on their father's side. They visited the areas where their father was born and lived until he was 17 when he moved to the US.
Faye leaves behind her daughter in law Windy, two grandsons Mike and Carl from Sacramento, sister Juanita from San Jose and her family; and sister Ramona and her husband Andy from Watsonville and their families.
Faye will be remembered by her friends and family as a loving wife and mother, an easy to get along with friend, peace-maker, dedicated worker, lover of the outdoors, gardener, walker, entertainer- and always eager to socialize.

Faye was a very special red head, who was my second mom. I will miss her. She deserves more than just a writing in the world wide web, however times have become difficult. All I ask, is that the next time you drink a cup of coffee ( especially Starbucks, I brought her one every day I saw her)or eat a piece of candy or cake (she loved sweets), take a walk or see that special floral center piece ( she use to have her own floral business), think of Faye and smile.
