Faye's obituary

Faye Jean Ringler (Dreckman) formerly of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away quietly with family at her side on April 11, 2023 . Faye was born September 16 ,1942 in Le Mars ,Ia. She was the second oldest of 9 children. After graduating from Gehlen High School in 1960, she worked for Dull law firm for a short time before she and several friends ventured to Colorado where she worked as a corporate secretary at Arthur Anderson for 15 years. In 1979, Faye married her then husband, Maury Ringler and moved to Las Vegas. She originally was employed at Cesaer's Palace but soon began working at Southwest Gas Company as a corporate secretary until she retired. Faye and Maury divorced in 1987. Two years later she was introduced to her soulmate and future husband William (Bill) Hogan. They were together 27 years.

Faye was very active in the local PEO club where she made many close and special friends. She enjoyed going out to eat and spending time with all her friends and neighbors. She loved going to the theater, shopping, book club, watching the Denver Bronco football  and Golden Knights hockey  games!! She was an avid fan!!!!

Faye had a soft spot for any cat or dog that needed a home. She said they always found her and several will be joining her and Bill in their final resting place at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetary in Boulder City, NV.

In April of 2016, Bill passed away leaving Faye alone except for 4 adult stepchildren who lived out of state. She developed health issues the last several years and decided to move closer to family so last April(2022) she moved into Sunrise Pointe Independent Living in Sioux City, Iowa. Although she missed all her longtime friends and neighbors in LasVegas, she quickly adjusted, made special friends at the Pointe, and participated in all their activities,  However, her greatest joy was spending time with family.
