On September 28th, an angel left this world and joined the other angels in the sky. I loved her so much even though due to the circumstances, and distance , we didn’t see each other in the last few years.
But she always has been and always will be my beloved special aunt, whom I loved
with all my soul and heart.
She was my sweet and kind Ameh Farang. I had the privilege of being very close to Ameh Farang in my childhood, and sharing sweet memories with her, as she was living with us.
She was meticulous, kind, calm , warm and patient. Later in life she became a great cook.
She was bright, curious and read lots of newspapers, and could argue with you to defend her opinion to no end.
As children , my brother and I always loved hanging out with her. She read stories for us, and knitted beautiful sweaters for us. She was so
talented in every way. She was gifted with something very special , that transcended age difference. As she always could come up with a subject to talk about, which was interesting to the other person, regardless of age difference.
She was a great sign language teacher, who was loved by her students.
She was a diehard fan of Gone With the Wind, Rebecca movies, and Delkash (a renowned Persian singer).
She was soft and gentle.
She looked beautiful on her wedding day, and we
called her Chelo Alenzo, a beautiful actress those days , as she looked just like her.
One of the most beautiful days of my life was 2 days I spent with Ameh Farang going shopping, having lunch, and cream puffs in Tehran 14 years ago.
I felt serenity , calmness and peace in her company, and I will never forget those 2 days, and how good I felt.
There was something magically calming, and serene in air, when you were in her company!! That is hard to explain.
My condolences go to everybody who loved her.
I love you my Ameh Farang, rest in peace. ❤️
