Faith Suzanne Guest

1943 - 2023

Faith Suzanne "Sue" Guest of Corning, CA, passed away on May 27, 2023, at home surrounded by loved ones after a long battle with cancer.

Faith lived a life of genuine devotion to her family; she was a loving companion and wife to Denton for over 58 years and a caring mother to nine children. Faith was known for her great love of God and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and was truly devoted to her family. She had a selfless and giving nature and was youthful in spirit. Faith was always playful and lighthearted, full of life and adventure. She enjoyed spending time with her family, going to the beach, rock hunting, and playing in the water. Faith also had a passion for gardening and being outside, and the sound of her laughter could be heard when she was playing with her kids.

Faith is survived by her husband, Denton Guest; son, Samuel Guest; daughter, Marie Guest; daughter, Mary Struve; son, Denton Guest, Jr.; daughter, Louann Rubie; daughter, Suzanne Guest; daughter, Denise Azcarate; and son, Ronald Marion Guest. Faith was preceded in death by her son, Robert James Dietrick. A viewing and funeral service for Faith will be held on June 10, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. (viewing) / 10:00 a.m. (funeral) at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Corning, California. The internment will follow at Kirkwood Cemetery. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to help with funeral expenses. Expressions of condolences can be sent to the family during this difficult time.
