F's obituary
Leo was a lifelong resident of Stoughton; the last surviving member of eight siblings who grew up on Bradford Street. He was husband to Mary (Healey) Foster for 64 years until her death in 2018.
Leo served in the United States Air Force from 1945 to 1948 as a radio Sargent in Central America. He then returned to graduate from Stoughton High School in 1950 and graduated from New England School of Art in 1952. He worked for several years designing packaging for many well known consumer products. After he and Mary started their family, he transitioned to a more stable career in the insurance business.
Leo is survived by four children; Susan Foster of East Bridgewater, David Foster of Hanover New Hampshire, Leanne Foster of Worcester, and Thomas Foster of Troy, Michigan. He also leaves behind granddaughters Emily of Hanover New Hampshire and Rylie of Troy, Michigan, along with dozens of nieces and nephews around the country.
Leo’s ashes will be interred at Holy Seplchure Cemetery beside his wife Mary. Leo’s family will celebrate his life with a private service.
