It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Everett William "Billie" Owens on September 20, 2023. Born on October 22, 1927, Billie, as he was affectionately known, lived a life filled with compassion, dedication, and love. His enriching presence will be profoundly missed but his legacy carries on in the memories we shared.

Billie is survived by his devoted wife Joan Feyerherm. Billie, as he was known by all was born to Everett A Owens and Nadine M Sease in Pueblo, Colorado. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Lawrence and his daughter Karen Cecil, and survived by his wife Joan Feyerherm, young brother Kenneth, son David, son in law Paul Cecil, step daughter's Sharon VonFeldt, 5 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. 

He loved fishing, hunting, camping, and being with his family and friends. Billie attended the Colorado Springs for the Deaf and Blind school. He graduated in 1946. Billie went on the work as an auto-body shop and mechanic until his retirement in 1989. 

As we mourn the loss of this extraordinary man, we also celebrate his life. We are comforted knowing that his spirit remains alive in those who knew him and that his story will continue to inspire future generations.
