Art's obituary

Beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2025 at his residence in Sacramento, California with his family by his side. Everet was a proud native of Seminole County, OK, then Sanger/Calway CA. Everet enlisted in the US Army in 1950 and proudly served in Korea; he was in the army until 1957. After the army, Everet settled in Sacramento, CA. In Sacramento, he met and married Marian Rita Spezza. Marian and Everet were married for 49 years and resided in Sacramento until Marians death in 2007. Then in 2019 het met and married Pinkie Ballin. Everet and Pinkie were married for six years and resided in Sacramento until Everets death. Everet is survived by his wife Pinkie, his children Cindy, Dana, Rose Anne, and Bruce (and daughter-in-law Rachel), many grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Everet is preceded in death by his son Everet Jr. Everet previously worked for UC Davis Medical Center for 25 years. Everet will be missed by his loving family members. He will always be remembered for his love of family and his sense of humor. He will also be remembered for being a proud Native American veteran. A memorial/celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 15th.  The location is the Fruitridge Community Center located at 4000 Fruitridge Road in Sacramento. The timeframe is from 11am to 1pm.  Food will be provided.  In lieu of flowers, donations in his name can be made to the charity of your choice.
