I’m so saddened to hear about Mrs Whitley she was my principal at Churchland Academy Elementary school for 1993 until I went to middle school on the way to middle school Mrs Whitley decided that I needed to go to a camp before my translation term middle school glad she did it. It helped out a lot. She was always firm with me and fair with me. I’m so sad in there later on in the years that would bump into her at a store. She would tell me how proud she is of me and I’ll tell her. Thank you for all that she did rest in heaven…

It was a pleasure to have known Evelyn and work with her in different areas of our church. We served on many committees together and served together doing kitchen duties. Her intelligence, skills and willingness to serve was evident.
I will truly miss her. My prayers go out to her family during this this difficult time.

I am so very sad to hear of Evelyn’s passing. This lady was the epitome of grace and love. Happy to have gotten to know her at CBC and to sing with her in the Senior Choir. I will forever cherish her smile when I last saw her. Prayers of comfort, strength and peace to the Whitley Family. May your memories sustain you.
