I didn't know Evelyn long except through church AND she and I met very often shopping at WalMart on a Friday. We always stopped for a hug and a short hello. This truly was an amazing lady.
She is missed

Pam and family, I was so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I have such fond memories of my visits to your house when we were in college - Hal's Hospitality House! Your mother wrote me many letters in which she expressed her love for God and her encouragement, support, and faith in my endeavors. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. BJ

My aunt Evelyn was a remarkable person with remarkable strength , kindness and character.
living on the 'left coast' I did not get too many chances to see her, but when I did, I remember her generosity and consideration to me and my family. She was faithful to the lord and one always felt that power shine through her when in her presence.
We enjoyed her letters where she shared her love for us and for her savior.
She loved her family and most every one she knew. She saw the good and promise in us all.
She was a hard worker.
Good Mexican food brought her joy.
I feel confident that the lawns and gardens in heaven will be well tended by her when we arrive and meet her again.
Our prayers are with her daughters and their family during this difficult time. And also with all her family friends and acquaintances who will miss her but not her spirit.

Evelyn was a beautiful spirit and so good to us when we came for a visit. I also remember when she came to visit Howard and our family. She would write us such beautiful hand written letters about our family and her prayers and love for us throughout the years. It made us feel so special and loved. We will cherish our memories with Evelyn forever. May she rest in peace with her Lord and Savior until we see her again.
