Evelyn's obituary
We are heartbroken to announce the passing of our beloved mother, Evelyn Khan on Friday, January 13th. She took her final breaths surrounded by her loving family.
Evelyn's joy and happiness were her four children, Amira, Sofia, Amir and Raseen, and most recently her two baby grandsons, Aiden and Theodore. She was a bright light in this world, always positive, always smiling, always loving. Her good nature and pure heart were so rare; she was magic. Evelyn was absolutely adored by her children; she was the most selfless, giving, and supportive mother. Her unwavering strength and bravery were remarkable and a true inspiration to all.
Evelyn had the ability to make everyone feel so loved and treated everyone as if they were her own children. She always put others first. She was incredibly thoughtful and caring, gave the best advice, and threw the best parties. She was always the first person on the dance floor and always made sure everyone around her was having a great time. She had a special and unique bond with each of her children, and was so proud of our close-knit family unit. She loved her family more than anything in the world.
Evelyn was fun-loving, had the best sense of humor, and enjoyed life to the fullest. She loved to travel, cook delicious meals and feed everyone, go to concerts & comedy shows, and paint. She was a talented artist, just like her late mother, and loved painting glass. Her beautiful works of art are proudly displayed in the homes of her children, family members and friends. She had the biggest heart and always believed in doing the right thing no matter what. She will be incredibly missed and she will live on in our hearts forever. A private celebration will be held to honor and celebrate her life with close friends and family.
