Evelyn Jo (Whitfield) Howard, age 82, of McMinnville TN passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2025. Evelyn was born in Anderson SC January 29, 1942. She lived in Florida for the majority of her life but traveled during many years to well over 25 of the 50 states.

She was preceded in death by her parents Luther & Katie Whitfield, her late husband Fredrick (Butch) Howard and son Thurman E Vance.

She is survived by her daughter Patricia Kay Laws (Rodger), grandson Shawn Stuhlman and granddaughter Heather Anderson (Matthew). Great granddaughter Lily Anderson and two great grandsons James Faith & Logan Waterman.

Three sisters Kathryn Spires of Mississippi, Maxine Penn & Francine Rager of Florida. Three brothers Billy Whitfield (Betty Faye), Johnny Whitfield (Gloria) and Harold Whitfield (Patty) all of Florida. And many nieces and nephews

The family has honored her request, and no public memorial service is being announced at this time. McMinnville Funeral Home LLC and McMinnville Crematory LLC have been entrusted with arrangements.
