Evangelina H. Escareno, of 82 years, lived in La Porte, Texas, passed away on February 28, 2022. On September 12, 1939, Evangelina was born to Pedro and Geneva Hernandez in Pasadena, Texas. In 1954, she met Raul G Escareno, and they wed on January 14, 1957, going on to have eight children, Wiliam, Cynthia, Neil, David, Vivian, Abraham, Roy, Diane. When Evangelina had her first child, she dedicated her life to being a fantastic and wonderful mother. We will miss her greatly. Evangelina is predeceased by grandparents Arnulfa Loza, Tiburcio Ramos her parents Pedro and Geneva Hernandez. Siblings Lawrence Hernández, Minerva Hernandez, Pedro Hernandez Jr., Petra “Lola” Padron, and Juan R. Hernandez. Her son David H. Escareno, grandchild Azariah Escareno]. She is survived by her spouse of 65 years Raul G Escareno, children William G. Escareno and wife Mary, Neil E. Escareno and Wife Deidre, Abraham H. Escareno, Roy Escareno Jr., and Wife Yvonne, Vivian E. Longoria and Husband Ricardo, Cynthia R. Escareno, Diane E. Zamora, and Husband Guadalupe, Grand Daughter/Daughter Michelle A. Postel-Salinas and Husband Tommy, Grand Daughter/Daughter Jennifer D. Barron and Husband Jason 31 Grand Children and 36 Great Grand Children and 4 Great Great Grandchildren her living Siblings are sister’s Guadalupe Arrellano, Mary Ruiz, Elizabeth Arias, Gloria Rosas.
