I hadn’t seen Evan in years - not since shortly after high school. But some of my best memories are spending time and hanging out with him and the whole O-Line crew on and off the field. I’m heartbroken for you and your family at hearing of the loss of our old friend.

Rebekah, Georgia, and Will, I am praying for you all from TX. Keep each other close these next few weeks. Give each other grace in this incredibly difficult time, and above all, love each other through this.

Evan was an avid outdoorsman. He loved his adopted state of Virginia and was always planning the next adventure. As his in-laws we were so blessed to be included in many of his hikes. We have so many memories of outdoor adventure with our grandchildren (who bitterly complained every step!!! 😂) because of Evan. He gifted us with fun with their family. And he never seemed to mind hanging out with the in-laws. Gracious and generous in sharing his family with us. We will forever be grateful to be such an important part of our kids lives because of Evan.  ❤️
