In [year they met], she met Donald E. Liss and they wed in 1953? , going on to have two sons, Earl R. Liss and Eric L. Liss. Moved from Dash Point to Shelton in (year)? Evalyn was a lover of animals and over the years enjoyed owning horses and owned at least 14 dogs. She and her husband were avid supporters of their local Adopt-A-Pet shelter and would also volunteer helping to take care of the animals and at times bringing home new dogs to give them forever homes. She and Don were members and participated in their local grange hall and were devoted members of First Baptist Church in Shelton, WA. Evalyn loved to spend time at their home in Shelton with her pets and enjoying the view of Oakland Bay from her window or deck. She was a lover of gardening and flowers and loved to watch the birds in her garden. In her younger years often would sew and make clothes. Evalyn loved baseball and was a huge Seattle Mariners fan. She was a great cook and loved to serve up a hot meal. Evalyn was predeceased by her husband Don E. Liss, her daughter in law Deborah Liss, her son Earl Liss. She is survived by her son Eric L. Liss and daughter in law Cathy, Grandchildren: Kendra Liss, Jacob Donovan, Haley Thompson, Rob Thompson, Anders Liss, Krystal Lucero, Great-Grandchildren: Keira Donovan, Marshall Donovan, Hailey Donovan, Brooks Thompson, Grant Thompson, Ava Liss, Jonah Lucero, Emma Lucero.
