It is with immense sorrow that we announce the passing of Evalina "Eve" Heart, who left us on March 18, 2026. Born in 1939, Eve was cherished by many and her vibrant personality will be remembered by all who knew her.

She is survived by her beloved son, Charles Hart, and her cherished step-daughters, Tawanna Denny and Tanya Createing. Her nurturing spirit and unconditional love for her family was evident in all her interactions. Her family was her haven of joy and she drew strength from their love and support.

Eve had a fondness for life's simple pleasures. She relished sipping her favourite beverage, an ice-cold tea, on warm afternoons. Eve also had a deep appreciation for music and was a lifelong fan of Elvis Presley. Her other pastimes included watching her favourite game show, Jeopardy, and cheering for the Indianapolis Colts, her chosen sports team.

She held a special place for the game Manopoly in her heart, a joy she often turned into memorable family game nights. Family was also her favourite recreation, spending precious time with her loved ones was what truly made her happy.

Eve had a soft spot for Florida, it was her preferred vacation destination. She always returned from her holiday refreshed, carrying the sunny glow of Florida on her skin and in her heart.

Eve was passionate about her causes, most notably the ASPCA. Her care for animals was just one reflection of her kind, compassionate heart. The kindness and love she brought to every life she touched is her most enduring legacy.

In remembering Eve, let us honour her legacy of love and kindness, by extending these virtues to all around us. She will be dearly missed, her spirit continues to live on in the people she has touched and the lives she had enriched.
