Eva was a cousin of my father-in-law, Herbert Moore (son of Grace (Knisely) Moore. Jim and I had gone to the family reunion. Eva introduced herself to us and told us a neat story about the time she and Tom were going home to California from a mission trip. They were changing planes in Mexico City in August of 1965. Herb and two other men from Dana in Marion, IN spent two years in Mexico City training people in the new Dana plant that was in Mexico City. Grace had recently moved in with Herb and Pauline in Fairmount, IN and then stayed with us while they drove to Mexico City, found an apartment, and got settled in. Grace then flew to Mexico City and was at the airport at the precise time that Eva and Tom were also there. Eva told us that she saw her Aunt Grace but a glass wall was between them and they could not contact. She told us that she believed God gave her that glimpse of her aunt. Grace died just a few days later. What are the odds of that happening --
only by God's grace!!!

Even though we lived far apart for most my life, Aunt Eva was always a joy to spend time with! We’d arrive at grandma and grandpas and she yell out “come in if your nose is clean!”
Though I will miss visiting with her here on earth, it thrills me to know we will spend eternity together!!

My prayers are with both girls and their families. I want to thank the family for allowing me to help with their parents. Eva and Tom will always hold a special place in my heart ❤️ forever.
