Eva Colón de Ruiz, 92 , passed away Friday, January 8th, 2021, in Santa Marta Nursing Home, in Ponce, Puerto Rico. She was born in Hatillo, raised in Santurce and lived many years in Caguas, Puerto Rico. She was an Army wife and traveled the world with her beloved husband, Luis Ruiz Ruiz. She was a very dedicated wife, mother and grandmother, excellent homemaker. She loved her pets; there was always a dog, cats or birds. Also making manual crafts. She made many friends in all the places she moved to, and was very loved. Mama is at peace and with her "Papa Dios", she always said that "Jesus is my Lord" and is reunited with her "Vida" (life) husband Luis, many family members, including her great grandson, Leonardo Carlo. The funeral will be held on Friday, January 15, 2021 at Borinquen Memorial Funeral Home in Caguas, Puerto Rico.
